Learning English Through Real Life

  Crime is a problem in many places. People who break the law need to receive punishment, but I think education is also important. Watching crime series in English helps me learn new vocabulary related to justice and improves my listening skills.

 Today, there is a lot of information on social media. Some of it is false. Critical thinking helps us decide what to believe and what to question. Media literacy is about understanding how media works. I always check the source before I share anything online.

 Last year, I went to Cartagena with my family. We visited the beach, ate delicious food, and enjoyed the sunset. I also practiced my English by talking to some tourists. It was a fun trip, and I learned new words by listening to different accents

  In the future, I want to work in logistics, especially in process coordination. I like organizing, planning, and making sure things work efficiently. English is very useful in logistics to communicate with international companies and understand documents or instructions in English.

   One of my favorite hobbies is everything related to fashion and beauty. I love learning about makeup, skincare, and new clothing trends. I follow beauty influencers on Instagram and YouTube, and I usually watch videos in English to improve my vocabulary and pronunciation.  

  My name is Paula Andrea Llanos, and I live with my mother. We have a close relationship and spend time together watching movies and talking about life. She is my biggest support. Talking about my family in English helps me practice vocabulary and share personal experiences.
